The ICA-ACF Big Apple Chapter
is actually the result of a merger of two culinary organizations: The International
Chefs Association Inc. (ICA) founded in 1905, and The
American Culinary Federation (ACF) Big Apple Chapter founded in 1976, by
Latzi Wittenberg, chairman and Arno Schmidt, president. In 1980, they merged
to become the ICA-ACF Big Apple Chapter. For the last century our goal
has been the same, to improve the standards of our profession and assist students,
chefs and food industry professionals with their education and professional
development.
The ICA-ACF Big Apple Chapter
is a non-profit organization.
